So we have finally gone through all of our pictures from Hawaii. The first 5 days we stayed in Waikiki. It is not the tropical paradise you would imagine hawaii to be with all of the hotels and retail shopping centers. It was still nice and had plenty to do.
Flying into Oahu
We stayed in a private condo that overlooked the harbor and right next to the start of Waikiki beach.
On the day after we arrived we hiked up Diamond Head Crater. Once you think you are at the top you then have 300 stairs to go up.
This is the view from the top looking over Waikiki. Makes the steep 45 minute hike worth it.
The next day we went to Kauloa Ranch. This is a 4000 acre piece of land were they film a lot of movies and tv shows
Pearl Harbor was one of my favorite stops we made.
Our last night in Waikiki we went to a magic show. After the show we strolled down the beach back to our hotel. We took a few steps onto the beach and then it started raining. We were 2 miles away from hotel so by the time we got back we were soaked.
